The narrow twist, which is typical of the Michel Robert model, remains unchanged and guarantees a very close contact feeling for the rider to the horse. The seat is wider towards the cantle, allowing the shorter panels to have a broader surface. The broader surface distributes the rider’s weight more evenly across the back of the horse, making this saddle much more comfortable for both horse and rider.”
About the CPS tree: “This is a revolutionary and structurally innovative saddle tree, featuring the CPS concept, in other words, the “COCCYX-PROTECTION-SYSTEM”, a new injected-membrane geometrical formula with differentiated capacity to absorb all stress and movement. This concept was conceived to protect the ischium bones, the coccyx and the back and it is visible through the soft Plexiglas inspection window below that is on the lower part of the saddle. The seat in the rear part is 30% larger and comfortable thanks in part to the new membrane. The front part of the saddle tree at the height of the withers is larger than other saddles for increased freedom of the withers and the trapezium. Also, the tree points are set back slightly compared to the usual position to allow the rider to saddle up farther forward without hindering the shoulders.”
